Claus has 30 years of experience in pharmaceutical manufacturing, R&D and design of biotech and pharmaceutical facilities.
His manufacturing experience includes 10 years as operational manager within oral dosage forms and aseptic injectables, and on the R&D front he was manager for a pilot plant for chromatographic purification, formulation of proteins and development of a lyophilised product.
In 1993, Claus joined NNE Pharmaplan's engineering group as project manager for design and construction of aseptic filling facilities. Later, he was appointed senior consultant in pharmaceutical processes responsible for the elaboration of several front-end studies for customers in Denmark, Europe, the US, China and Russia.
In this current role as senior technology partner, Claus provides high-end management consultancy within operational excellence and new technology within pharmaceutical manufacturing with strong focus on small molecules and oral solid dosage forms.
