Pharmaplan Switzerland (TTP Group) opens new office in Visp close to Lonza AG
PHARMAPLAN(CH)-TTP Group / Basel, 7 June 2021: In response to the investment boom in the pharmaceutical industry, Pharmaplan is opening another office in Switzerland in the third quarter of 2021. With the new subsidiary at the biotech site in Visp, Pharmaplan as Swiss market leader, is meeting the growing global demand for pharmaceutical engineering services and is also underlining its engagement in the region.
The objective is to handle the projects of regional customers in all phases from planning, realization, and qualification to handover to the operational users, and hence to strengthen customer relationships in the Valais, such as with Lonza AG. “Visp is an important hub for biotechnological pharmaceutical production and we are pleased to now work even closer with the global player, Lonza AG in Valais. With the new subsidiary, we are also making our promise come true. As a strategic partner and single point of contact, our project teams guarantee to our customers flexible project execution on site for construction, commissioning and qualification of their pharmaceutical and biotech production plants,” says Stefan Berg, Managing Director of Pharmaplan AG in Switzerland.
Bettina Riedl, who is already involved in several projects on site as project manager and GMP expert, has been appointed branch manager for the operational business. With her many years of experience and excellent understanding of the customer needs in the Western part of Switzerland, she is the first point of contact for customers and interested parties. “There is currently an urgent shortage of qualified personnel. In our new branch in Visp, our experts in the fields of science, engineering and architecture will be ready to serve the regional market and secure the global drug supply of tomorrow, for example in the field of vaccine production. We are very proud of this,” says Ms. Riedl. The new office is centrally located in the Centerpark at Bahnhofplatz 15, in 3930 Visp and offers space for 60 employees.
