bioMérieux– Medical diagnosis capacity increase
As part of their growth strategy, bioMérieux needed to increase their production capacity for cartridge refilling. At first, they considered 2 different scenarios: construction of a new building, or redevelopment of existing premises. bioMérieux thus looked for a partner who could help determine the best solution and subsequently execute it.
Pharmaplan conducted a feasibility study which identified the construction of a new building as the best option. We then initiated a consolidation phase to develop the project concept in terms of flows, investigate integration with other buildings and existing process equipment, assess the impact on utilities and infrastructures and plan the construction.
We continued to support the client in the realization of the project, which included revamp and demolition in parts of the existing building, building extensions as well as revamping of existing support functions and implementation of new ones.
